A Present From China

Tonight Mike came home with the most beautiful ceramic teapot given to him by a man he works with, named Jianhui, who just came back from a month in China. Jianhui is from a small village near Guangzhou in southern of China. The teapot, handmade by an up and coming artist, is the 4th dragon teapot in a series of nine dragon teapots. The top of the teapot is inscribed with the chinese characters "Dragon has four children". We thought that was pretty neat since we are ultimately planning on adopting again after Grace and that will mean we will have four children. Thank you Jianhui for such a thoughtful and beautiful gift. We will treasure it always!!!
