Dossier is at CCAA!!!

We got an email this morning from CCAI that our dossier has arrived at CCAA. Not that we are LID but that it is at CCAA. They said that it could take 6 weeks to be logged in. I hope this is just a standard time they quote and the LID will be much sooner. I have heard LID's that have only taken 10 days from DTC. We are at 10 days as of today so I hope to hear something official sometime this week.

yeah! that's exciting. our agency gave us a Fed Ex tracking number, so we obsessively tracked it all the weekend it went over. it's remarkable how fast it can get there!

Elise,

My agency told me the same thing..4-6 weeks to get our LID. However, we were logged in within 10 days of the day they sent the Dossier to China. I do know that most agencies only hear about LID's when referrals or travel assignments come so perhaps that is what they are referring to. Here's hoping for a July LID for you !

Congratulations! That is a great feeling!

Ours was seven days. It won't be six weeks. I hope yours comes faster than ours!

Yeah!!! Congrats on being DTC! Next stop, LID and then it REALLY feels official.

It actually does feel like time has flown since our DTC of 1/13. This wait is a long one, but if you get involved in your DTC group and local FCC waiting families (if you have one) it really does help pass the time and make the wait much more fun!

Donna :)
