Bring on Christmas!!!!
Last weekends trip to Portland was a blast. It was an amazing event and I can't wait until next year. I loved hearing Natalie Grant speak and she is the most beautiful singer. When we got back our small group got together for a Samaritan's Purse wrapping party and the kids had a ton of fun putting together boxes for Operation Christmas Child.
We had a great Thanksgiving and then yesterday we went to get the tree and last night we decorated up the homestead for the holidays. I have a crazy couple weeks ahead with final projects and final exams. I am so looking forward to my Christmas break so I can relax a little. I feel like my life is just one big whirlwind these days. Hopefully I can catch up with all my blog buddies when I get some free time:)

On the hunt for the perfect trees!!!!!
Gotta go do some studying before we watch the Huskies stomp on the Cougs in the Apple Cup tonight. Sorry Cougchic.....red is my favorite color but my husband has demanded that we are only to see purple in the house today.
Go Dawgs!!!!!

You're all ready? AAAAAHHHH! I just my first TWO presents today....
What a great idea! We are donating to Samaritan's purse in lue of giving gifts amongst my side of the family this year. I think it's such a cool thing to do.
Hey Elise,
Well, Happy (late) Thanksgiving! I hope Portland was fabulous (I think you are the 4th person I know who went to Portland for Thanksgiving this year).
What a fun "wrapping" party it looks like you had. I recognize those Amsberry's (through both the Price family and Legacy Homeschool Coop). Hope it was a great time for all!
So sorry to hear about the Huskies. When I was working at the public school in Woodinville, this time of year there was always such tension between those Coug/Husky fans. Hope you are recovered by now.
p.s. Love the holiday blog look! I will be attempting to do mine as well. Hope you can see it!
I'm really trying to feel badly for you about the outcome of the game. Really.
Okay.... I feel badly for YOU, personally, but I don't feel badly for the Huskies.
Does that make me a bad person???
Love the new blog look! Glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We do the OCC boxes too. It's a wonderful thing to do as a family! ;)
This is why, as a Coug, I have learned not to talk smack during, on or around the Apple Cup. It always comes back to bite me.
I did love your "woof" comments, too cute! What an exciting game.
Love your family Thanksgiving picture. Beautiful!
Great pics!!! We're trying to get all Christmasy around here, got the tree and it's standing naked in the front room! Randy had to go out of town for a couple days, so it's delayed. We did the Oper Christmas Child too, volunteered at our packing center. Fun!!
Best wishes on your wait fro Gracie! It will be worth every single second you have longed for the wait to be over!
The new look is awesome!
Have a wonderful holiday
season!
Your blog is always so cute. I must say though that your christmas blog is beautiful. I'm glad that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and I love the photo of you all in front of the mantle.
What a wonderful idea!
Thank you for your kind words. I will pray for you as you wait for Gracie:)

I've always wanted to check out Portland...it is on my list of places to see.
