Busy week.....and potty training issues
We have begun the potty training with the youngest munchkin but it hasn't been going to well...she has other potty issues that we are trying to get a handle on and that is making the task of mastering the tiolet a lot harder. I have not had to to do this for over 10 years so any advice out there to get our little niece to "go" like a big girl?????
Can't believe it is already the end of the week, it has just flown by when the house is filled with little munchkins. They are a lot of work but they just crack us up all the time!!!!
We had a baby shower on Monday night for Hailey's youth leader, Carrie. It was a surprise and she was really shocked but excited. Her husband, Tyson, is also one of the youth leaders at our church and he was also Hailey's English and History teacher this past year and Carrie is a counselor for the same school. They are a very special young couple who devote much of their time to work with youth through church, school and sports (they both coach girls basketball and volleyball) and deserve to spoiled with lots of love from the kids. Hailey and her friend Maddy planned the shower, made invitations, organized everyone to bring food....I was really proud of how mature they were through the whole process and the shower turned out just great. Now we just have a month or so to wait before the new baby arrives.

potty training -Becca is a sucker for sweets -it started with M&M's, then tic-tacs, and now Jelly Belly jelly beans. for her it works-now my son, a whole 'nother story-and we're just being patient with him and just taking him to the bathroom every hour. :)

The baby shower looks like fun. And I have never thought of decorating one in the rubber duckie theme, how cute.
potty training- with my oldest Bryce who is now 4, I started potty training him at 2 and I just put the training potty in the living room on a towel and with in 2 weeks he was completly potty trained, and I was able to move it to the bathroom. I got the idea from my mom. she said that is what she had to do with me. Basically it was like the potty snuck up on him instead of him having to stop what he was doing to go and find it.
Hope it will help you some.
